I’ve been in crypto for five years. For the last year, it’s been my full-time job.
That sentence took a long time to be able to write honestly — and it’s the reason this site exists.
How I Got Here
I got into crypto the way a lot of people did: curious, a little skeptical, and not planning to take it seriously. Five years later, it had quietly become the thing I spent most of my free time reading about, testing, and — eventually — trading.
A year ago, I made the jump to trading full-time. That change didn’t come from a lucky trade or a get-rich story. It came from time spent watching charts, getting things wrong, refining a process, and slowly building the kind of discipline that this market punishes you for not having.
I’m not a hedge fund, an “alpha caller,” or someone selling a signals group. I’m one trader, sharing what I actually do — including the parts that don’t make for a great highlight reel.
What I Actually Trade
My focus is meme coins, mostly on Solana. It’s a fast, volatile, and frankly brutal corner of crypto — which is exactly why I think it deserves more honest, structured content than it usually gets.
Two things guide how I approach it:
A four-check screening framework. Before I touch a new token, I run it through the same checks every time — liquidity, holder distribution, contract behavior, and launch pattern. One of the things that framework was built around: sniper concentration at launch can produce sell-pressure candles that look exactly like a rug pull, even on a token that isn’t one. Learning to tell the difference has saved me from panic-selling good setups more than once.
A dip-and-recovery approach. I’m not chasing green candles at the top. I’m watching for structure — how a token behaves after an initial drop — and sizing my entries around that, not around hype.
None of this is a guaranteed system. It’s a process, and I’m still sharpening it.
Why I Built This Site
By day, I’m a web designer — I build WordPress and Shopify sites for a living. So when I decided I wanted a place to document my crypto journey properly, building it myself wasn’t really optional. It’s also why this site looks the way it does: I wanted something that felt credible and organized, not another flashy meme-coin page that’s all hype and no substance. Crypto content gets held to a high bar by design (and by Google), and I think it should be.
That’s the thinking behind the site’s four sections:
- News — market-moving stories, without the noise
- Guides — the educational content I wish I’d had when I started, from DeFi basics to security to trading fundamentals
- Reviews — honest looks at the tools, wallets, and exchanges I actually use
- My Journey — the real, ongoing story: trades, mistakes, lessons, and everything in between
A Few Things I Want to Be Upfront About
- I’m not a financial advisor, and nothing on this site is financial advice. I’m sharing my own experience and process, not telling you what to do with your money.
- Crypto is high-risk, meme coins especially. I’ve had losing trades. I’ll write about those too.
- I’m still learning. Five years in, one year full-time — I don’t claim to have this figured out. I just try to be honest about what I know, what I don’t, and what I’m testing.
